Dawn Meikle, 55, and her husband were sleeping in bed on Dec. 11 when, according to police, Meikle's husband began to pass gas.
The Smoking Gun reported Meikle tried to get her husband to stop flatulating by elbowing him and kicking him.
When he didn't stop, the two than began to brawl.
Meikle sustained a cut lip, and her husband sustained multiple scratches on his chest.
Police said Meikle admitted to being the aggressor. She was taken to jail and charged with domestic battery.
