The 42-year-old woman accused of threatening police officers and white people was denied bond at her court appearance Friday. And while jailed, she was charged in a separate case for allegedly assaulting a friend’s juvenile daughter, according to police.

On Sunday, Clayton County police received video of a woman making violent threats, and the following day, officers received an additional video, Officer S. Brown said.

Investigators identified the woman as Latausha Naomi Nedd, who lives less than 2 miles from police headquarters. On Thursday, the FBI and U.S. Marshals assisted Clayton County officers and deputies with arresting Nedd, who was charged with terroristic threats and criminal solicitation.

On Friday, additional warrants were taken against Nedd, charging her with cruelty to children and battery, Brown said. Nedd allegedly assaulted a friend’s daughter, police said.

Nedd was being held Friday night at the Clayton County jail.
