Wife of Lake Lanier fishing guide also faces fraud charges

The wife of a well-known fishing guide on Lake Lanier has been arrested for allegedly assisting her husband in a large fraud scheme, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Pam Watson, who is married to Shane Watson, was arrested Sunday for allegedly writing bad checks on her husband's behalf, Channel 2 reported.

Shane Watson was arrested last week and faces three counts of felony theft, fraud and felony fugitive from justice for allegedly defrauding investors out of thousands of dollars for boats that weren’t delivered.

He also has active arrest warrants in Hall County, Milton and South Carolina, Channel 2 reported.
