The bodies of two 17-year-olds found dead behind a Roswell Publix were identified Monday afternoon. But investigators have not yet determined why the two were there and who was responsible for their deaths.

Shortly before 6 a.m. Monday, a delivery driver found the bodies behind the Woodstock Road grocery store, according to Officer Zachary Frommer with Roswell police.

The two victims were later identified as Natalie A. Henderson, of Roswell, who attended nearby Roswell High School, and Carter J. Davis, of Woodstock, who attended River Ridge High in Cherokee County. Both were seniors, the Fulton and Cherokee school districts said.

The investigation continued throughout the day Monday as detectives interviewed employees in local businesses and reviewed surveillance footage. Anyone witnesses who may have been in the area between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. were asked to contact police.
