Two teenagers face aggravated battery charges after a knife fight that left a woman with head injures, Canton police said Monday.

Police have not said what role Monique Motley, 17, and Terrell Williams, 18, played in the May 31 assault at the Alexander Ridge Apartments.

A woman at the apartment complex suffered a deep cut to her forearm and injuries to her jaw and head. She was taken to the hospital, but her condition is not known.

Police are still investigating what led to the fight. Motley and Williams were taken to the Cherokee County jail on $20,000 and $27,000 bonds, respectively.
