Police are seeking two men, one of whom has been charged with murder, after a deadly shooting in an Athens apartment parking lot.
About 8 p.m. Monday, officers found the victim, Saheed Snow, with multiple gunshot wounds near apartment 577 in the 500 block of East Carver Drive, spokesman Epifanio Rodriguez said.
Witnesses said Snow got into a car that appeared to have two men inside.
“During the course of the interaction,” Rodriguez said, “the victim was shot and pulled out of the vehicle by one of the suspects.”
One of the men ran, and the other drove away, possibly in a 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt or Malibu.
One of the men has been identified as David Rojas Garcia of Hull. He has an active warrant for murder in connection with the incident, according to Rodriguez.
Investigators are seeking to identify the other man.
