Six people were hurt in a shooting early Sunday morning at a Jonesboro bar, the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police responded to a reported shooting at the Level II Bar & Grill at 6510 Tara Boulevard in Jonesboro about 2:20 a.m., Clayton County sheriff’s spokeswoman Ashanti Marbury said.

Four people in the parking lot had sustained gunshot wounds when officers arrived and emergency service workers treated them before taking them to nearby hospitals with what was perceived to be non-life threatening injuries, Marbury said.

Later, officers were advised that two additional gunshot victims showed up at local hospitals, bringing the total number of victims to six.

No arrests had been made and no suspect had been identified as of Sunday morning.

An investigation is ongoing.
