An Athens man allegedly drove 120 mph during a chase with deputies Friday.

Oglethorpe County deputies are searching for Greg Taylor, who had warrants out of Clarke County and will soon have "numerous warrants" out of Oglethorpe County, Sheriff David Gabriel said in a Facebook post.

Taylor got away from deputies during the high-speed chase, but his vehicle was later located and impounded in Clarke County, the post said.

His warrants from Clarke County are for violence against another person, the post said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
