A new book by an investigator reportedly details what happened on the day Casey Anthony's 2-year-old daughter disappeared.
According to the San Francisco Globe the book, by private detective Dominic Casey, reveals that Anthony drowned her daughter and then kept her in a car trunk for five days following the murder. Anthony was found not guilty in the case.
The Inquisitr reports Anthony made Internet searches "for things related to suicide and suffocation" prior to the drowning.
In the book, Casey alleges that the 2-year-old’s body was dumped by Anthony into the back of her vehicle’s trunk before she drove around for five days and left it in a wooded area. This aligns with finding by investigators after “a scent belonging to a decomposing body” was discovered in the back of her car, the San Francisco Globe reports.
Casey was hired by the Anthony family as a private detective, according to CNN. Anthony was allegedly living in the West Palm Beach area following the trial with a TV deal with NBC also being rumored.
