A Powder Springs man was arrested Thursday after being accused of molesting a girl a decade ago, authorities said.
Kevin Jajuan Day, 34, faces a count of child molestation after being accused of groping and performing indecent acts on a 12-year-old girl in June 2010, according to a Cobb County arrest warrant. The alleged abuse took place at a home off Country Cove Way.
The victim was on summer vacation during the incident, the warrant said. No other information is available.
Day was arrested by the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office and was granted a $22,220 bond, Cobb jail records show. As of Friday night, he remained in custody.
