Officials say Kyle Scott Foster, 30, was selling the drugs out of his home and may have purchased them in a state where marijuana is legal, Channel 2 Action News reported.

“The legalization of marijuana and THC products in some states has opened up a new resource for our local distributors,” Hall County sheriff’s spokesman Deputy Stephen Wilbanks told the news station.

Authorities also seized THC vaping oil, has oil, six pounds of marijuana and cash in the raid. THC is the active ingredient in marijuana.

Investigators said some drug dealers are buying pot merchandise in states where it's legal and reselling them in Georgia for big profits.

According to Channel 2, the brownies had 1,800 milligrams of THC per brown and each popcorn package had 1,000 milligrams. They were sold at $85 and $30 per bag, respectively.

Officials are worried the drugs could attract younger users.
