A disagreement between two women turned violent when one struck the other in the head with a frozen turkey before fleeing with the poultry in hand on Monday morning, according to multiple reports.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the argument, which happened before 4:30 a.m. in San Francisco's Hunters Point neighborhood, according to the San Francisco Examiner.
One of the women grabbed a turkey out of a freezer and struck another woman, 44, in the head with it. She also bit the woman's finger, the Examiner reported.
The suspect, described as a woman in her late 20s, fled from the home with the frozen turkey. Police believe she may be driving a silver, four-door Lexus with paper license plates, according to KRON.
The 44-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, the TV station reported.
Police did not identify any suspects in the case.
