A man was shot to death Friday night at a home in North Carolina by his sister, police said.

Elijah James Moore, 21, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died.

Elijah Moore and his sister, Breanna Regina Moore, 19, were arguing when the sister allegedly grabbed a handgun from a vehicle and fired at least one shot toward her brother, police said.

She left the scene with a man and a 2-year-old child in a gold-colored Honda Accord, police said.

An arrest warrant is out for the sister’s arrest charging her with first-degree murder.

The investigation is ongoing.
