Police have released a photo of a car they believe is connected to a deadly shooting in southwest Atlanta.

The shooting happened Nov. 12 at a home in the 800 block of Smith Street, Atlanta police told AJC.com.

Officers were sent to the house shortly before 10 a.m. and found a man who had been shot in the chest, police spokesman Officer Anthony Grant said. The unidentified man died of his injuries.

The car police are looking for appears to be a dark Nissan sedan. It’s not clear how the car is connected to the man’s death. An investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Atlanta police. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
