Gwinnett County police are asking the public for help identifying three men who allegedly tried to rob a farmers market employee behind the Norcross store earlier this month.

Gwinnett County police are asking the public for help identifying three men who allegedly tried to rob a farmers market employee at gunpoint as he returned from his lunch break.

According to police, the attempted robbery occurred about 4:30 p.m. March 8 behind the Nam Dae Mun Farmers Market on South Norcross Tucker Road.

Investigators said the employee was returning to work when three men stopped him. One suspect pulled a gun and asked the man for his money, according to the police report.

The employee said he had no money and ran away as two of the men chased him, police said. He was able to enter the store through a side door as the three men took off toward the nearby Sienna Heights apartment complex along Graves Road, police said

The attempted robbery was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras. Police said they aren’t sure if the men are responsible for other crimes in the area.

Anyone who recognize the suspects is asked to contact Gwinnett detectives at 770-513-5300 or call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Tipsters can choose to remain anonymous and receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case, police say.
