Two Rolex watches that were reported missing from the home of Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank during a theft investigation at his Buckhead residence were not stolen, police said Wednesday morning.

The watches, valued at about $56,000 to $120,000 each, “have been accounted for,” Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones said.

Police on Monday night were called to Blank’s West Paces Ferry Road Northeast residence and told that three Apple iPads were taken from the residence, according to an incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The report also noted the two Rolex watches were gone. At the time, police said it was not clear if the watches were stolen or with Blank, who was traveling when Debra Fay Copeland, identified in the report as the woman who called police, noticed the items were missing.

“They were not stolen,” Jones said Wednesday. She did not provide additional details.

And Jones did not say if the iPads had been recovered. The iPads, worth about $2,500 each, controlled multiple systems within the house and efforts were being made to delete all data on them remotely, Copleand told police.

Copeland, whose relationship to Blank was not known to police, said the house has been under construction for the last few months and that movers, electricians, plumbers and others have been in and out of it. Copeland gave police contact information for the construction crew and the moving crew.

“The incident at Mr. Blank’s home,” Jones said, “is an ongoing investigation.”
