Gwinnett County police on Monday identified a pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run near Norcross.

Michael Polk, 60, of Peachtree Corners, died Friday night after a dark-colored car hit him on Peachtree Corners Circle at Hunters Ridge Lane, Gwinnett police spokesman Cpl. Deon Washington said.

Police have not located the car, which should have front-end damage.

Anyone with information about the deadly hit-and-run is asked to contact police at 678-442-5653.

Also, people can leave anonymous tips at Crime Stoppers by calling 404-577-8477 or going online to crimestoppersatlanta.org. A reward of up to $2,000 is available.
