An 80-year-old woman was seriously injured Friday during a shoplifting incident at a Walmart in Oklahoma.

The incident happened around 3 p.m.

Tulsa police say Ladarrian William Mitchell, 26, tried to flee the store after being spotted shoplifting women's undergarments.  During this time, he knocked over the unidentified elderly victim.

Mitchell was caught and taken back into custody after being released from jail earlier in the week for serving time on a previous shoplifting conviction. He faces multiple counts, including larceny of merchandise and assault and battery with intent to commit a felony.
