Police are investigating a ticket scam involving this fall's Taylor Swift concert in Atlanta, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Fans of the pop singer wired money to buy electronic tickets after seeing an offer on Craigslist, Channel 2 reported. But they never got the tickets, just excuses.

Douglasville police are looking into the incident.

Investigators told Channel 2 they took a man into custody on a separate charge, but he may be a suspect.

Swift fans and other ticket buyers are being warned to take caution when asked to wire money.

The Swift show is set for Oct. 24 at the Georgia Dome.
