A man was hit by at least one car and killed Tuesday night as he walked along a ramp to I-85 in Union City.

Police found the man dead on the ramp to I-85 South near Flat Shoals Road about 9 p.m. According to Channel 2 Action News, several vehicles could have been involved in the accident.

No driver or vehicle remained at the scene, a South Fulton police spokeswoman said. While South Fulton police handled the investigation Tuesday, the scene was later determined to be in Union City’s jurisdiction, according to officials.

The victim has not been identified by police.

No further details were released.
