Since February, Birge has been in prison on charges of fleeing/eluding police, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, reckless driving and driving with a suspended license.
He was previously convicted of theft by taking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and served one year and two months.
