Police have charged four people, including three juveniles, in connection with several vehicle break-ins and the shooting of a woman in Grant Park.

Just before 3 p.m. Jan. 16, officers responded to Park Avenue after the woman was shot in the leg while confronting four men who were breaking into vehicles, AJC.com previously reported. She spotted them while driving north on the road and confronted them through her driver’s-side window.

As the woman spoke to them, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot toward her vehicle, grazing the woman’s leg. The incident prompted a brief lockdown at nearby Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School.

Police said Monday that they’ve secured aggravated assault warrants against two of the juveniles and entering auto warrants for all four. None are in custody, and their names were not provided.

The investigation is ongoing.
