A woman in New Mexico who was arrested on Easter Sunday on robbery charges left behind a mystery: the whereabouts of her 16-month-old baby.

The family of Jesse Dickerson, 37, is working with authorities to locate 16-month-old December Dickerson. The baby has not been seen since the mother's arrest on April 16, KRQE reported.

The baby's father, David Guynn, said at a probation hearing on Wednesday that he does not know the baby’s location. Guynn faced child abuse charges involving the baby, but those charges were dismissed, according to KRQE.

Jesse Dickerson's 10-year-old daughter was already being cared for by family members before Dickerson's arrest.
