Two women, including a popular local model, were found dead in a Buckhead apartment, Atlanta police said.
Authorities went to the apartment in the 1000 block of Summit North Drive about 9 p.m. Thursday after receiving a 911 call from the victims’ roommate, according to an incident report obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The roommate told dispatchers the women had possibly overdosed on drugs.
Inside the apartment, police said they discovered Summer Moss in a bathroom with her left leg propped against the door’s frame. She had a purple straw with a white powdery substance in her right hand, according to the report.
Friend Katherine Green was found about 6 feet away with a white blanket pulled up to her neck.
According to the report, two clear plastic wrapped balls of the white powdery substance were found on the bathroom countertop. Police said they also found a pink container with blue pills and a green leafy substance in plastic that appeared to be marijuana.
The victims’ roommate told officials she recently asked Moss to move out of their apartment because of a history of drug abuse, according to the incident report. Moss’ former boyfriend, who said he saw his ex and Green about 4:30 p.m. Thursday and thought they were sleeping, told police both women used drugs.
