A woman walked into a Hall County used-car dealership, laughed with employees, handed over a driver’s license and drove away in a minivan.

About 6:30 p.m. Wednesday was the last time employees at Kar Kingdom in Buford saw her or the gold Chrysler Pacifica that she test drove, the dealership said on social media.

The license and phone number she left were fake.

Salesman Corey Washington told Channel 2 Action News he never would have pegged this woman for a thief because of how relaxed she acted.

“She was very comfortable when she did it,” Washington told Channel 2. “She was real calm and collected; it probably wasn’t her first rodeo.”

Kar Kingdom management decided six months ago to install high-quality cameras after thieves stole car parts, Channel 2 reported.

The pictures from those cameras are the best leads police have in finding the woman who never returned the $6,000 minivan.
