3 men wounded, woman killed in Savannah shooting

Savannah police are investigating a mass shooting that left a woman dead and three men injured early Wednesday morning.

Detectives believe at least two shooters were involved and have not yet publicly identified a motive in the shooting, according to the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department.

Officers found Jamond Heyward, 17, Brandy Council, 34, Jarrett Myers, 40, and Jeran Washington, 52, wounded when they arrived around 1:30 a.m. to the 100 block of West 33rd Street. Council died from her injuries. Heyward, Myers and Washington had non-life threatening wounds, police said.
