Three men, including one who was toting a shotgun, are wanted after robbing a Dollar General in Fayetteville earlier this week, authorities said.

Just before 9 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an armed robbery at the store off Banks Road, Fayetteville police said in a news release. Witnesses said the suspects robbed the store of cash and change rolls.

No one was injured during the robbery, and police said the shotgun was not pointed at anyone during the incident.

The three suspects covered their faces, so police did not have a good description of them. However, the department released surveillance photos of the three suspects on Facebook.

They fled the scene in a dark-colored four-door sedan.

“Fayetteville Police are working with other law enforcement agencies in the area that may have had similar crime patterns,” the release said.

Anyone with information on the incident are asked to contact Fayetteville police at 770-461-4441.
