More than a week after a carjacking and robbery in Fayetteville, everyone responsible is behind bars, authorities said.

Police took Nicholas Deshawn White, 22, of Decatur, into custody Monday in connection with the Feb. 14 armed robbery, Fayetteville police said. Two other suspects — Juan Aundra Carr, 23, of Fayetteville, and Malik Sage Amos, 26, of Atlanta — were arrested shortly after the incident.

Officers responded to the parking lot of JR Crickets off Glynn Street and found two men who had been robbed and struck with a handgun, according to a police incident report obtained by AJC.com.

About 9:40 p.m., Carr and Amos robbed two men of cash, a cellphone and their 2006 BMW 530I, the report said. During the incident, both men were also pistol-whipped.

Carr and Amos were arrested at the intersection of Glynn Street and East Lanier Avenue shortly after police were called to the scene, police said in a Facebook post. White is accused of stealing the victims’ BMW and driving to DeKalb County, where the vehicle was later recovered.

The three suspects face two counts of armed robbery and two counts of aggravated assault, according to county jail records. Carr faces an additional felony drug charge, Amos was charged with a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge and White faces a count of theft by taking.
