Marietta man arrested after police allegedly find drugs, ledger in his home

A Marietta man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after police said they found nearly a pound and a half of drugs and a transaction ledger in his home, according to Channel 2 Action News.

David Hendrix was taken into custody at his house on McClesky Drive on Wednesday, Channel 2 reported.

Police searched the Marietta home and found nearly a pound and a half of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl and marijuanna, along with hundreds of prescription pills including oxycodone, the news station reported.

Investigators said they also found a safe that contained $12,000 in cash and a ledger of drug transactions. The notebook contained the names of people involved in the drug deals as well as dollar amounts, the news station reported.

Hendrix was booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on Thursday. He faces 12 felony charges, including drug trafficking, possession and manufacturing.
