Man steals car, crashes in front of victim's house
Police in Oklahoma arrested two people after a car was stolen from a home in Tulsa and then crashed just down the street from where it had been stolen.
In a total of six hours, Art Horn went from having his car stolen to looking out his front door and seeing it crashed and police all around.
Horn said he first noticed the car was missing early Thursday from his home, near 36th Street North and Delaware Avenue. Hours later, Tulsa police attempted to pull the car over a few blocks away from the house and the driver sped off.
Police said the suspect ran a stop sign and crashed the car two houses down from Horn's.
"I opened the door and police cars are here. I went out and said, 'That’s my car!'" Horn said.
The driver and a juvenile suspect ran away. A K-9 unit quickly caught up with them.
The car is no longer drivable, but Horn said nothing was stolen from it.
