DeKalb police have identified the man killed in a shooting this week along I-20 near Panola Road.

Jonathan Williams, 19, of Villa Rica, was shot in his car Tuesday about 5:30 p.m.

Police are looking for a small red Chevrolet with a Missouri tag linked to the shooting death, DeKalb police spokesman Maj. Stephen Fore said.

Fore said a second passenger in Williams’ car left the scene, and police are hoping he comes forward.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call DeKalb police.

The investigation is ongoing.
