A 51-year-old Dallas man died after being ejected from a motorcycle in Cobb County and colliding with another vehicle, police said.

The victim, identified as Robert Hall, was pronounced dead on the scene Sunday due to injuries he sustained in the collision, Cobb police Officer Alicia Chilton said.

Hall, the driver of a red 2002 Yamaha XVS1100, was negotiating a curve along southbound Milford Church Road about 9:02 a.m. Sunday when he lost control of the motorcycle and collided with a northbound Toyota Highlander, Chilton said.

The driver of the Highlander was identified as 42-year-old Pedro Torres of Marietta, Chilton said.

Torres was transported to WellStar Cobb Hospital due to an unrelated medical condition.
