An Atlanta man found by police early Saturday morning with a bullet wound to the chest died at Grady Memorial Hospital, Atlanta police confirmed.

Atlanta Police Department spokesman John Chafee said the man, identified as Sammy Gantt, 22, of Atlanta, was found after 3 a.m. in the 400 block of Norfolk Street in northwest Atlanta.

A preliminary investigation found the shooting likely occurred in the 500 block of Norfolk Street after an argument. No arrests have been made.
