Nearly three weeks after a 35-year-old Ellenwood man was shot and killed in DeKalb County, the sheriff’s office said Thursday it had made an arrest in the case.
Robert Marques Hunt, 37, was arrested Wednesday on Memorial Drive in connection with the Jan. 15 shooting death of Tremayne Evans, the DeKalb sheriff’s spokeswoman Cynthia Williams said in an emailed statement.
According to Williams, Evans was shot on Wesley Chapel Road near Decatur. It was not clear what led to the shooting.
