A SWAT standoff ended with the arrest of a man who police said walked away from a traffic stop in northeast Atlanta Friday night.
Marvin Harvey, 44, became belligerent during a traffic stop and walked away, according to police. Police followed Harvey to his house on Mayson Avenue. A woman and child were allowed to leave the house during the stand off, police said.
The SWAT team then used tear gas to enter the home and arrest Harvey, authorities said. He faces several charges, inclduing obstruction and battery, police said.
