A 15-year-old Lithonia Middle School student who was pulled from class last month and arrested on murder charges is being charged as an adult, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Marc Anthony Honeycutt appeared in DeKalb County Magistrate Court Wednesday morning and his case was bound over to Superior Court, the television station reported.

Honeycutt was arrested Feb. 18, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution previously reported. Police previously arrested his 21-year-old brother, Dwayne Honeycutt. Both were arrested in connection with the Jan. 12 shooting of a 22-year-old Gwinnett County man.

That man died on Feb. 4.
