Kensington MARTA station reopens after shooting

The Kensington MARTA station reopened early Monday following a Sunday night shooting that shut down the station.

Channel 2 Action News reported that two men got into an argument on the train platform around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, and one shot the other.

The wounded man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in stable condition, and the suspect was taken into custody. Their names have not been released.

A “bus bridge” was put into place around the station while MARTA police investigated the shooting.
