Thieves stole students’ belongings from a school bus while they were performing in Saturday’s Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Christmas Parade in downtown Atlanta.

The bus was parked in a lot near Centennial Olympic Park when someone broke into it while the Central Carroll High School marching band was marching in the parade, according to police. Police said the bus was being watched by an attendant, but when the person left the bus for about 30 minutes, someone stole iPhones, iPads, cellphones and cash from four individuals.

Carroll County schools said the school filed a police report and officers were very helpful, according to Channel 2 Action News.
