Police are asking the public for help identifying three men involved in a New Year’s shooting outside a Gwinnett County nightclub.

The shooting occurred about 2:45 a.m. on Jan. 1 following an argument between several men in the parking lot of Encore KTV Lounge in unincorporated Duluth, Gwinnett police spokeswoman Cpl. Michele Pihera said.

The club’s security guards separated the group when the altercation turned physical, police said. At that point, two of the suspects retrieved guns from their vehicle.

Surveillance video obtained by Channel 2 Action News appears to show a man with a rifle firing several shots into the air. Before leaving, the suspect is seen aiming at the building and firing several more rounds as bystanders scramble for cover.

One of the club’s windows was shot out, but Pihera called it fortunate that nobody was struck or killed.

The suspects fled the area in a black car that was likely a Mercedes-Benz, authorities said.
