Gwinnett police investigate death of elderly woman

Gwinnett County police are trying to determine whether a partially paralyzed 72-year-old women found dead Tuesday morning met with foul play.
The woman was discovered by her husband and a caretaker at her home in the 1100 block of Simonton Glen Way in unincorporated Lawrenceville. A Gwinnett police spokesman said she died from apparent blunt force trauma.

"We're treating this as a suspicious death," Gwinnett Cpl. Edwin Ritter said.

Police have asked the public to be on the lookout for a 2006 champagne colored Toyota Camry, with Georgia tag number ACE4286, missing from the woman's residence.
