Gwinnett man arrested during $105K drug bust, cops say

A traffic stop led to $105,000 worth of drugs being seized and a Lawrenceville man being arrested Friday, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Alex Avila faces charges of trafficking marijuana and THC oil, Channel 2 reported.

Officials told the news station a police dog smelled something in the car during the traffic stop, and 12 pounds of marijuana and a “large amount” of THC oil was found.

Avila remains in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond.
