A Gwinnett County man has been arrested after he allegedly videotaped a woman in a Kohl’s dressing room in Forsyth County, according to a Facebook post.

Daniel Zakkam, 39, of Duluth, is charged with eavesdropping and surveillance/unlawful acts, Forsyth County sheriff’s deputy Doug Rainwater said in the post.

Deputies responded March 8 to the department store on Peachtree Parkway after a woman said she saw a man videotaping her with a smartphone from an adjoining dressing room, Rainwater said.

“When she confronted the male, he attempted to leave the store,” Rainwater said. “She followed him, and before he left the store she was able to take a picture of him with her smartphone.”

Deputies identified Zakkam after they posted the picture online and got responses from the public, Rainwater said.

Zakkam was arrested Wednesday at his home and was booked into the Forsyth County Adult Detention Center on $5,610 bond, Rainwater said.
