A Griffin funeral home owner was found not guilty on all charges in connection with the death of his brother-in-law, officials said Monday.

Timothy Lee Watkins was charged with murder and aggravated assault related to the shooting of Kenneth Marshall Jr.

Both men were attending a family gathering at a home on Chappell Lane last August when an argument broke out, Clayton County police Officer Jamine Moton previously told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Marshall died from multiple gunshot wounds, and a second man, identified as Marquis Fletcher, sustained a non-life-threatening wound when he was hit by a stray bullet. Fletcher was not part of the dispute, Moton said.
