Following a not-so ‘typical fender bender,’ 2 motorcycles stolen at gunpoint

Authorities said a group of men in a white Nissan pickup truck rear-ended a truck in Cobb County carrying two motorcycles, pointed a gun at the driver and stole the vehicles.
Sgt. Louis Defense of the Smyrna Police Department said the April 25 incident was a ploy to commit a robbery.
“It was staged,” Defense told Channel 2 Action News. “It was calculated. There’s nothing to suggest this was a typical fender bender.”
The crash happened on South Cobb Drive at Wisteria Lane. Kjuan Lee, the driver who was hit, told police that when he got out to exchange information, the other driver pointed a gun at him and demanded the keys to his bikes.
Lee, an airman stationed at Dobbins Air Reserve Base, said two men drove off with his blue and white 2015 Yamaha dirt bike and a 2007 yellow Ducati while the driver held him against his will.
Police have not made an arrest.
