A man was arrested Monday in Gwinnett County after allegedly attacking two men in a seafood restaurant parking lot and prompting a SWAT standoff at a nearby apartment complex, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Mikail Dinkins, 26, of Duluth, is accused of pistol-whipping a man in the parking lot of Pappadeaux on Jimmy Carter Boulevard before robbing him and another man of an iPhone X and car keys, Channel 2 reported.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK, police told Channel 2. They were attempting to go to the restaurant around 11:30 p.m. Sunday but didn’t realize it had already closed.

Norcross and Gwinnett police arrived at the Landmark at Bella Vista Apartments in Duluth, where Dinkins appeared to live, after tracking a car from the robbery scene, the news station reported.

The standoff lasted more than an hour before Dinkins was arrested.

Dinkins, who faces seven felonies, was convicted of armed robbery in Alabama in 2010, Channel 2 reported.

He remains in the Gwinnett County Jail without bond, according to records.
