Fatal shooting reported at Clayton County hotel

Clayton County police Saturday were investigating a fatal overnight shooting at a hotel near Jonesboro.

The shooting at the Magnolia Bay Hotel & Suites on Southside Commercial Parkway was possibly drug-related, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Police have released no details about the victim or what led to the shooting, which happened just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
