A convicted thief who escaped from an Alabama jail Friday was apprehended during a traffic stop in Kentucky Monday.

Justin Daniel Caldwell, 27, may have made it easy for authorities to spot him because of his large forehead tattoo of a crown.

According to AL.com, Caldwell is serving an eight-year sentence for first-degree property theft.

Caldwell is being held at Harden County Detention Center in Kentucky until he can be transported back to Alabama to face new charges stemming from his escape.
