Employee shot at DeKalb County restaurant during robbery

Investigators believe a robber waited outside a DeKalb County restaurant until there were no customers, demanded cash and shot an employee late Monday.
The employee at China Star Restaurant on Chamblee Tucker Road was shot in the leg and is expected to survive his injuries, Channel 2 Action News reported. The armed robber got away with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
It’s the second time in a matter of days that police have been called to the restaurant. Previously, a car drove through the front of the restaurant.
