Three people are facing felony charges after agents seized drugs and cash at a hotel on Tybee Island, according to a media report.

Agents from the Chatham-Savannah Counter Narcotics Team seized powdered and crack cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, various prescription pills and more than $2,000 in cash, the Savannah Morning News reported. The arrests came after Tybee police contacted the team Tuesday about possible drug activity at the hotel.

Two of the people arrested are from Tybee Island, and one is from Savannah, according to the report.

In addition to drug charges, one suspect also was charged with cruelty to children, the paper reported. Children were in the presence of the drugs.

Tybee Island is a popular resort area on the coast, about 265 miles southeast of downtown Atlanta.
