The drivers of a motorcycle and a stolen vehicle are at large after separate pursuits in DeKalb County on Wednesday, a Georgia State Patrol spokeswoman said.

A trooper attempted to stop a motorcyclist for speeding on westbound I-20 at Moreland Avenue, spokeswoman Franka Young said. The motorcyclist did not stop, and the pursuit continued off Thornton Road.

The motorcyclist reentered I-20 eastbound and exited onto Panola Road, Young said. Troopers lost sight of the motorcyclist.

In the other pursuit, a trooper attempted a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle headed northbound on Panola Road, Young said. During the chase, the vehicle overturned at Farrington Village Drive.

The passenger, Ciera Bowens, 22, of Snellville, is in custody, Young said. The driver, who was not identified, ran away.

No other details, including the times of the pursuits, were released.
